1. Intended audience
This operating manual has been produced for qualified electricians for the maintenance of
the battery system, and the operator. The operation, maintenance and disposal of the

2. Notation
The following symbols and signal words are used in this operating and maintenance
manual.
HAZARD!
Denotes an immediate hazard with a high risk of death or serious physical injury if it is not
avoided.
WARNING!
Denotes a possible hazard with a medium risk of possible death or serious physical injury if it is
not avoided.
CAUTION!
Denotes a hazard with a low risk of minor or moderate physical injury if it is not avoided.
ATTENTION!
Denotes a hazard which could result in the product, other objects or the environment being
damaged if it is not avoided.
Dangerous voltage.
Danger due to explosion, blast waves, flying hot or melted substances.
Electrolyte is extremely corrosive!
Warning of hazards due to batteries.
Please observe the operating instructions and install in a conspicuous place in the charging area.
Batteries may only be worked on after instruction by qualified staff.
Smoking is prohibited!
Do not expose the battery to open flames, embers or sparks as this creates an explosion and fire
hazard.
