Users can select the reset mode for the fire alarm:

Auto-Reset
If Auto-Reset is selected, when the system receives a fire alarm signal from contact inputs,
it will start to broadcast the voice alarm automatically. When the fire alarm signals are
cleared, the voice alarm broadcast will be reset automatically.

Auto-Duration-Reset
If Auto-Duration-Reset is selected, when the system receives a fire alarm signal from
contact inputs, it will start to broadcast the voice alarm automatically. When the fire alarm
signals are cleared, the voice alarm broadcast will be reset automatically after a certain
number of seconds, which can be set in
Duration .

Manual-Reset
If Manual-Reset is selected, when the system receives a fire alarm signal from contact
inputs, it will start to broadcast the voice alarm automatically. When the fire alarm signals
are cleared, the voice alarm broadc
ast won’t be reset automatically and the operators
need to press the reset button on the devices. The voice alarm broadcast will then be
reset.

Manual-Duration-Reset
If Manual-Duration-Reset is selected, when the system receives a fire alarm signal from
contact inputs, it will start to broadcast the voice alarm automatically. When the fire alarm
signals are cleared, the voice alarm broadcast won’t be reset automatically and the
operators need to press the reset button on the devices. The voice alarm broadcast will
then be reset after a certain number of seconds, which can be set in
Duration .

Minimum Duration
If Minimum-Duration is selected, when the system receives a fire alarm signal from dry
contact inputs, it will start to broadcast the voice alarm automatically. When the fire alarm
signals are cleared, the voice alarm broadcast will be reset automatically after a certain
number of seconds, which can be set in
Duration . But if there is other signal interrupting
during the duration, the duration will be retimed.
The checkboxes in the row
“10 sec. start” are used to enable or disable the fire alarm broadcast
by starting a “siren sound” within 10 seconds after the system has powered on and, after
complete start-up, the emergency announcement will be broadcast.
To meet UK regulations, a contact input needs
to be set to “Reset RK-MCU” and reset mode
should be set to “Manual-Reset”. When the system is activated by a fire alarm signal (contact
inputs), it can only be reset by activating the
“Reset RK-MCU” contact input.
