Dry Contact Output
There are 8 dry contact outputs, which are from A1 to A8, each port has NO, NC and COM. This
provides a connection for external modules or third-party devices, such as a volume controller. The
maximum voltage and current for each dry contact output are 250 V and 5 A.
System Interface
System interface is used to connect to an external device or a third-party system. Detailed functions
are as below:
ALARM - This is a dry contact output to be used to transmit the voice alarm status of the
system to a third-party device. The port has NO, NC and COM terminals. While the system is
playing emergency voice the interface will be activated, and will be deactivated during the
interval time which is set in the task.
FAULT
– This is a dry contact output to be used to transmit the general fault status of the
system to a third-party device. The port has NO, NC and COM terminals. While the system is
in fault, the interface will be activated and send a fault signal to the third-party system.
FIRE
– This port is used to connect to the fire alarm system via RS-485 bus and transmit the
fire alarm signal and work status through MODBUS protocol.
CTRL
– This is a reserved RS-485 interface.
DEBUG1
– This port is a reserved RS-232 interface.
DEBUG2
– This port is a reserved RS-232 interface.
The connection terminals are provided with the product. A cable with a cross-section of 0.5mm

to
1.5mm

is recommended.
System Extension
Zone expanders shall be connected with the Master Control Unit via the system extension interface.
Twisted pair CAT-5 is recommended. A twisted-pair (2m) cable is provided in the zone expander
package.
