Buttons/Switches
Button/Switch Action Description
All Press Select all zones.
Close Press Forcibly close selected zones.
Monitor CH1 Press Monitor or stop monitoring CH1.
Monitor CH2 Press Monitor or stop monitoring CH2.
Record Press Start or stop temporary recording.
Playback Press Play temporary recording file in the built-in loudspeaker.
Line in Press Start or stop broadcasting the audio source from line in.
Microphone Press Start or stop live broadcast.

Operations
Power On & Off
There is a power switch on the rear panel of each device to connect or disconnect the AC power
supply. After installation, press the power switch to the
“I” position to turn on the device, and press
the power switch to the
“O” position to turn off the device.
Reset
All the fault statuses of the system can be cleared manually by pressing the RESET button on the
front panel of the RK-MCU. If the fault still exists, the device will show a notification again.
If the fire alarm reset mode is configured as “Manual-Reset” or “Manual-Duration-Reset”, users need
to press the RESET button to clear the alarm status after a fire alarm.
Please refer to RK-MCU reset for setting the button to
“System Reset”.
ACK
When system detects any new fault, the buzzer of the RK-MCU will beep. Meanwhile, the general
fault indicator will turn yellow and start flashing to notify operators. The operator can press the
“ACK”
button on the front panel of the MCU to confirm the fault, then the buzzer will be muted and the
general fault indicator will be constantly yellow.
When the system receives new fire alarm signals, it will enter emergency mode and the buzzer of
the RK-MCU will continue to beep. Press the ACK button to mute the buzzer.
Test
Test function is used to check the light and sound indicators. The following are the steps for test
operation:

Press the TEST button on the front panel of the MCU to start test function. The test will not affect
other functions. During the test:
- All indicators will forcibly light up, the multi-color indicator will flash different colors in turn.
- The screen displays red, green, and blue in turn.
- Buzzer sounds.
