Removing Protective Safety Shield
To prevent injuries, the ATevo safety shield must always be installed when
charger is in operation and/or energized.

• A standard flat blade screwdriver is required.
• Open the ATevo front panel door to access safety shield.
• Remove the two (2) screws that attach the safety shield to the ATevo, one above AC Input
Breaker (CB1), the other below theDC Output Breaker (CB2).
• Grab the safety shield on both left and right sides, and gently lift up and off of AC Input
and DC Output Circuit Breakers.
• Reverse procedure for reinstalling the safety shield.

• Remove four (4) screws from corners of top shield and (4) screws from corners of bottom
shield.

Group II (30-100Adc) ATevos do not feature a mulit-tap input terminal block for the Power
Isolation Transformer (T1). However, transformers in certain models can be retapped in the
field to switch between connected input voltages.
