STEP 23:
If you are using SNMP v3 (version 3) then User Names and Passwords must
be entered for each user. Simply type the User Name and Password into the
text boxes and press Submit. Users may be deleted by using the delete user
pull down menu. To edit a user requires that it simply be deleted and re-
entered.
STEP 24:
Next select the type of security functionality to be used by selecting either
“MD5 & DES” for authentication and encryption or select “Noauth and
Noenc” for no authorization or encryption.
STEP 25:
Lastly, select the V3 only checkbox to prevent V1 and V2 logins that would
bypass the username and password security of V3.

STEP 26:
When all changes are made, press Submit and then press Back to return to the
main menu. Click on Email to access the screen in Figure 3-14.
STEP 27:
This screen is for setting up Email addresses that will be alerted when there is
a fault condition in the transmitter. To add an address, simply type the address
in the “Add address” text box and click on Submit. The address should then
show up in the Address List. The Delete address pull down menu can then be
used to delete any entered addresses.
