2.14 Remote Control I/O:

2.14.1 Command In

The Command inputs are all opto-coupled and require a current source to energize the
LED. This can be done either within the transmitter or externally. The Controller board
internal voltage source can be activated with JP2 jumper placed in the 1-2 position, which
will 5 volts from the internal supply for the optocouplers. If JP2 is placed in the 2-
3 position the optocouplers must be supplied a voltage on pins 19 & 37 of J31. The
optocouplers require a minimum current of 5 mA, and the maximum current should be less
than 20 mA.

Open circuit voltage with the internal source (JP2 1-2) is +5 volts. Any external source
(JP2 2-3) should be less than 36 volts.
