Tube holder cracked. Replace tube holder. See Chapter 7,
Tube Clamp Inspection and Adjust-
ment on page 7-5.
Clamp body cracked around screw
mounting pillars or clamp body
mounting screws. Replace clamp body. See Chapter 7,
Tube Clamp Inspection and Adjust-
ment on page 7-5.
Mounting screws loose. Tighten screws.
Solenoid requires adjusting. Adjust solenoid. See Chapter 7, Tube
Clamp/Solenoid Inspection, Replace-
ment and Adjustment on page 7-2.
Broken, cracked or split
base, neck or shroud. Shaker
fails electrical safety check. Cracks in the shroud; cracked, bro-
ken or missing shroud bosses. Loose
or dirty ground connection. Replace shroud or bosses. See Chapter
10, Shroud Assembly Installation on
page 10-8. Verify that ground connec-
tions (power plug, motor and base
plate) have good connections and are
secure (reference Schematic Assembly
Interconnect Diagrams).
Loose crimp connector. Check all attaching nuts for corrosion
and tightness.
Broken wire. Inspect all ground wiring for cuts,
breaks, and poor termination.
Motor fails to operate when
the power is applied. Power to motor failure. Verify all wiring connections.
Malfunction between control circuit
board and motor. Verify all wiring connections.
Internal motor failure. Replace motor. See Chapter 10, Motor
Replacement on page 10-4.
Shaker does not initialize
(does not read "READY"). Microprocessor malfunction. Replace or reprogram microprocessor.
See Chapter 9, Microprocessor Set-
tings on page 9-8.
Open wire or broken connection. Check all wires and connections;
repair as necessary.
PCB assembly malfunction. Replace PCB assembly. See Installing
the PCB Chassis Assembly on page 8-
2.
Head board malfunction. Replace head board. See Chapter 13,
Head Board Replacement on page 13-
