Assigning Variable-speed Outputs
The controller can use up to 5 variable-speed fan stages and each
of these stages can activate up to 3 variable-speed outputs.
Operation options
Var: Variable output running at a variable speed
When a stage activates this type of variable output, the
output starts running at its minimum speed and increases
in speed as the room temperature rises. The output
reaches its maximum speed at the end of the stage's
bandwidth.
On: Variable output running at a constant speed
When a stage activates this type of variable output, the
output simply runs at a constant speed when the fan stage
is on.
Off : Variable output is not used during the stage.
To assign a variable speed output, proceed as follows:
1. Press Variable Output Assign. The variable outputs that
are used in stage 1 are displayed.
2. Press Adjust and then use the arrow keys to set the status
of the first variable output in stage 1 (On/Var/Off).
3. Press Adjust once again to validate and step to the next
variable output.
4. Press the down-arrow key to select the following fan stage.
5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 to set the status of all variable outputs
for each variable-speed fan stage.
