MT02_A37_A_TH310_GIVI_ENG rev. E
Pag. 36/44
To execute a new position in semi-automatic operation, proceed as follows:
Press
to set the value of the new
position to be reached
0 0 0 0 0.0*
Or, to terminate semi-automatic operation:
Press
twice
to go back to manual
operation
3 5 0.5
Notes:
1) The position controller does not accept the programming of a position outside the
measuring length limits set.
2) If positioning cannot be completed correctly (due to an erroneous configuration of
parameters, such as inertia, speed change, tolerance, etc.), after three attempts the
instrument stops and signals the erroneous position with the flashing of the START key
led.
Important
: positioning is checked considering the physical resolution of the encoder
(see parameter 06) and not the resolution selected for the displaying (see parameter
05). For instance, consider the case in which the encoder resolution is set at 0.01 mm
and the displayed resolution is set at 0.1 mm, with a positioning tolerance of 0.1 mm.
When the position of 79.86 is reached, the displayed position will be 79.9 mm; however,
positioning will not be considered as completed if the position to be reached was
80.00 mm.
3) Whenever the operator does not want to set the number of repetitions during
programming, he can press the START key after having entered the position value to be
reached. After positioning has been executed, the instrument will perform the repetitions
calculation with the INCREASE CYCLE input, up to a maximum of 99 repetitions, but it
will not signal the end of machining.
4) At any time, it is possible to interrupt positioning or repetitions counting, by pressing the
STOP key. Then, it is possible to set a new position to be reached, or to go back to
manual operation by pressing again the STOP key.
