Prime the Pump
When tubing is empty and the pump is unprimed,
it may be difficult to pump new solvent into the
system. to ease this process:
1. Launch the
purge mode in GGP Software.
(refer to the Gilson Glider Prep Software (GGP)
User’s Guide .)
2. Loosen the knurled knob (one-half turn
counter-clockwise) of the purge valve located
above the pump heads.
3. once solvent has flowed through the purge outlet
tubing, stop the pump and tighten the knurled
knob (clockwise) to close the purge valve.
