Delivery and Installation
Check the contents of the delivery, against
the delivery note as soon as possible.
Notify your local Genevac representative
immediately if any parts are missing or
damaged. (Refer to the back cover for
contact details).
To ensure that your new Genevac HT
system is set up correctly and operates to
its full potential, it should be installed and
commissioned by Genevac personnel or by
an authorised representative of Genevac.
Installation site
The evaporator must be positioned on a
level and sturdy work-surface, it should be
clear of the edge of a bench and a safe
distance from any breakable objects or
areas where entrapment could occur. If
required, the evaporator can be bolted to
the bench or trolley, by its five mounting
feet, using M10 high tensile bolts.
Consult Genevac for advice on any other
positioning requirements.
Make sure the exhaust hose is free from
kinks, constrictions and U-bends (U-bends
could cause condensed solvent to gather
and block the exhaust line).
User training
Commissioning normally includes training in
the basic operation of the system. Further
in-house training is recommended to fully
exploit the flexibility of the system.
Applications support is normally free of
charge for the lifetime of the instrument.
