Genevac HT-4X Evaporation System

SampleGuard Control Temperature

Enter a temperature value up to +70°C. The system heats the sample holders to this
temperature.

Caution:

Risk to Sample Integrity; consider the possible effects on the dried

sample when selecting a safe control temperature.

SampleGuard Control Channel

Channel 1 is the default setting. The option to change to channel 2 is provided only to allow
continued operation should a fault arise with channel 1 or its associated SampleGuard
probe.

CoolHeat Enable Pressure

Enter a pressure value between 5 and 400 mbar. The infra red lamps do not come on until
the

CoolHeat Enable Pressure

is reached. This prevents a build up of heat that would

cause sudden uncontrolled boiling (or bumping) of volatile solvents as the chamber pressure
reduces

.
