Calibrate External Sensors

Use the following procedure for calibrating external pressure sensors.

(1)

Connect the required external transducer to the EXT TRANSDUCER socket located 
on the rear of the instrument.  

(2)

Allow the instrument’s temperature and the temperature of the external 
transducer to stabilize in the calibration environment for a minimum of 1 hour.

(3)

Switch the instrument on, enter 

CALIBRATION

 mode and select 

EXT SENSORS

 

from the 

CALIBRATION

 menu: 

(4)

Select the transducer to be calibrated from the transducer menu using the  
cursor keys and press ENTER:

If the sensor to be calibrated is not in the directory, or no sensors are listed in the 
directory, press the 

F1

 key (ADD NEW SENSOR).  This will place the sensor in the 

directory, allowing it to then be selected.

(5)

Connect the pressure standard to the inlet of the external transducer, apply the 
zero point pressure and store the zero point:
