CAUTION

DEFIBRILLATOR PRECAUTIONS — Patient signal inputs
labeled with the CF and BF symbols with paddles are protected
against damage resulting from defibrillation voltages. To ensure
proper defibrillator protection, use only the recommended cables
and leadwires.

Proper placement of defibrillator paddles in relation to the electrodes
is required to ensure successful defibrillation.

CAUTION

DELAY IN LEAD DETECTION— When using a 3-leadwire set,
there may be up to a 10 second delay in detection of the ECG
waveform. A

skin burns, apply electrocautery electrodes as far as possible from all

FALSE ALARMS—If clinical workflow includes pre-admitting
telemetry transmitters, attach ECG leadwires to patient prior to
attaching ECG leadwires to transmitter. Failure to follow this
sequence may result in false alarms or interruption in ECG
waveform.
