5.8 Front safety shield

The primary function of the front safety shield

is to protect the operator from the heated components
and the nip of the rollers.

The second function of the front safety shield

is to assist the heating components maintain a stable
temperature and keep dust away from the activated
adhesive.

D A N G E R

At no time should you attempt to over ride

any of the safety latches on the laminator.

Caution should always be exercised

when using the laminator with

the safety shields raised.

You can be seriously HURT or INJURED!

W A R N I N G

INFORMATION

The laminator will operate only when

all safety latches are in the fully

latched position.

Raise the shield

a) Pull both safety latches on the front safety

shield toward the center of the laminator.

Safety latches

Caution should always be exercised

when using the laminator with

the safety shields raised.

You can be seriously HURT or INJURED!
