The Number of Loops to View field allows the user to set the number of loops that are to appear on the main
Loop view screen. The range is from one to five loops. If less than a total of five loops and monitor points is
configured for the system, the maximum value will be equal to the total loops and monitor points. If only one
loop is present on the system, the field will not be shown.
The
Notifications Navigation
selection allows the user to enable/disable navigation from the notifications
window. When enabled and the user presses a row in the notifications window, the screen associated with the
item in the selected row will be shown.
Depending upon the system configuration, selections can include:
• Loop/monitor values display the Loop view screen.
• Automatic program status including name of running program displays the program Entry screen.
• Active alarm status including the most recent alarm displays the main Alarm screen.
• Data logging status including active file name, length and logging rate display the Data Log screen.
• Security status will display the Security settings screen if the current user has access.
• The current User displays the Log In screen or Log Off prompt if security is active.
• Audit trail active/inactive status displays the Audit Trail screen.
• Web server active/inactive status displays the Communication settings screen.
• VNC server active/inactive status displays the Communication settings screen.
• CCS4000 IP address displays the Communication settings screen if enabled in the configuration.
• Available SD storage memory remaining displays the current memory status.
9.7 Recovery
The power recovery settings allow the user to set the startup state of the system in the event of a power failure
when an automatic ramp/soak program was running at the time power was lost. When power is restored, the
MCT compares the amount of time it was off to the recovery time setting and takes whatever action is selected
for the recovery state.
To configure the power recovery settings, first determine how long the system can be off without adversely
affecting the process. Set the
‘Recovery Time’ to this value (0–32760 seconds maximum). If power is returned
in less time than this setting, the program will continue from where it left off at the time power was lost. If power
is restored after a time period longer than the recovery time setting, the MCT will take action based on the
recovery state selection.
To set the power recovery action, push the recovery mode button for the desired setting to set it as the power-
up state. The selections are exclusive to one another, i.e., only one can be selected at a time. As a new
selection is made, the previous setting will be automatically turned off.
