Wiring:
Modbus: RS485 Shielded (6-pin RJ-11 connector) for
ModSync® Port 2 (BMS Network) or Port 3
(Boiler Network). 18-24 gauge shielded wire
with three (3) conductors plus the shield.
Note that the Shield is not the third conductor
and is terminated separately at a designated
SHLD or GND terminal at only one end,
location, or panel in the network.
Daisy chain configuration only using line
network topology. Modbus RS485 Maximum
network length is 4,000 ft with a maximum of
32 devices.
Analog: For 4-20mA and 0-10VDC use 18-24 gauge
shielded wire. The shield gets terminated
separately at a designated SHLD or GND
terminal at only one end, location, or panel
in the network
For RTD sensors use 20-24 gauge three (3)
conductor wire. Maximum length for RTD
wiring is 200ft.
Digital I/O: 18-gauge wire (Blue 24VDC(+),
Yellow 24VDC(-) )
