Turn down or turn off the light.

Failure” message is displayed on the main unit.
Cause
：
There is a communication failure with the SpO
2
measurement unit.
Solution
：
A defective cable or SpO
2
measurement unit failure can be considered.
The “SpO
2
-* Disconnected” message is displayed on the main unit.
Cause
：
The SpO
2
relay cable is disconnected during monitoring the SpO
2
.
Solution 1
：
To cease monitoring, press the Alarm Silence key to clear the message and
silence the alarm.
Solution 2
：
To continue monitoring, plug in the SpO
2
relay cable. This will clear the message and
silence the alarm.
The “SpO
2
-* Replace Cable” or “SpO
2
-* Check Cable” message is displayed on the main
unit.
Cause
：
A wrong patient cable is used.
Solution
：
Replace the patient cable. For details of the usable patient cable, refer to “6.
Accessories/Optional Accessories” in the HS-800 series Super Unit Operation
Manual.
