Impedance Measurement Circuit
Respiration Detection
Passing a high-frequency current energized by modulation circuit to the right hand and left leg or
the right and left hands through the lead cable and applying the obtained voltage to
synchronous-rectification-type demodulating circuit, chest impedance is converted into voltage
value. Then, using time constant circuit, amount of change is extracted as respiration signal. The
extracted signal is amplified by the amplifier and converted into A/D by the A/D converter. The data
converted into A/D is inputted to the gate array. Subsequent process is the same as 4, 5, 10-ECG
electrode.
To stop impedance detection
By setting the main unit, oscillation can be stopped.
