9. Remove the “NIBP holder” and “Silicone

Tube” and replace the NIBP unit.
Re-assemble the unit in the order of 9 to 1.

*Pulling the Silicone Tube strongly may cause

a crack. If a crack is found, replace the
Silicone Tube with a new one.

Part Number: 6G0102230 Silicone Tube

C A U T I O N

Make sure that the air connector is in a stress-free situation. If the air connector is under
stress, BP cannot be correctly measured since the connector is loose and the air leaks.

10.Turn ON the power with the Rotary SW of the DSC-8500 to “C”, then press the Menu

→

Maintenance

→

Usage Time keys, press the RESET key in the NIBP Meas. Frequency on the

Usage Time screen, and reset the NIBP Measurement Frequency. And then, return the Rotary SW of the
DSC-8500 to “0”.

11. After the power is turned ON, check that initialization of the NIBP unit is properly completed.
