Non-Invasive Blood Pressure
The cuff is not inflated although the pump is operating.
Cause 1
：
The air hose is not firmly connected, and the air is leaking.
Solution
：
Check if the air hose is properly connected.
Cause 2
：
The cuff size does not match the selected patient type
Solution
：
Check if the cuff size does match the selected patient type.
The pump does not make any sound.
Cause
：
The air hose is disconnected from the NIBP Connector.
Solution
：
Check if the air hose is properly connected.
The monitor repeats the measurement, or “
ｰ ｰ ｰ
” is displayed for the numeric data of the
main unit.
Cause 1
：
The measurement accuracy is not reliable due to body motion artifact.
Solution
：
During the measurement, have the patient stay still as much as possible.
Cause 2
：
The pulse is too small to acquire reliable measurement accuracy.
Solution
：
Check if the cuff is properly attached to the patient, or the cuff size is correct.
The “Check NIBP cuff, hose” message is displayed on the main unit.
Cause 1
：
The applied pressure to the cuff has exceeded the maximum limit.
Solution
：
Check if the cuff is properly attached to the patient, or the cuff size is correct. Check
the air hose for any bend or press, and then measure again. If the same message is
displayed again, a failure of the equipment can be considered.
Cause 2
：
The air hose is disconnected.
Solution
：
Check if the air hose is tightly connected, and then measure again. If the same
message is indicated, air may internally leak.
The “NIBP Check patient type, air hose” message is displayed on the main unit.
Cause
：
Although an air hose for Adult or Child is connected, the patient classification is
Neonate. Or although the air hose for Neonate is connected, the patient classification
is Adult or Child.
Solution
：
Match the connected air hose type and the patient classification.
The “NIBP measurement failed.(C**-**)” message is displayed on the main unit.
Error code condition (phenomenon, or situation) and its cause are indicated below.
C01-00
Although the pump is activated, the inflation cannot be performed.
Cause
：
The connection between the cuff and air hose or the air hose and NIBP connector
may have become loose or may not be connected.
Solution
：
Make sure that they are tightly connected to prevent disconnection. If not, connect
them properly.
C01-01
The inflation cannot be performed to the target inflation value.
Cause
：
The connection between the cuff and air hose or the air hose and NIBP connector
may have become loose.
Solution
：
Make sure that they are tightly connected to prevent disconnection. If not, connect
them properly.
C02-00
When not quick measurement, the data cannot be measured during exhaust.
