Failure” message is displayed.
Cause : A communication error with the HS-8000 SpO
2
Unit exists, or error information is
received from the SpO
2
Unit.
Solution : Parameter cannot be measured properly in this situation. The unit needs to be
replaced. Check the MAINTENANCE (SpO
2
) under the “Test Menu” as follows.
HS-8312N (Nellcor)

Check the count of the Error Status on the lower right of the screen.
HS-8312M (Masimo)
→
Check the Board Failure Code and Diagnostic Failure Code on the upper right of the
screen.
The “CO
2
Unit Failure” message is displayed.
Cause : Error information is received from the CO
2
Module in the HCP-800/810.
Solution : The CO
2
Module might be defective and needs to be replaced. Check the Module
Service Codes displayed on the MAINTENANCE (CO
2
) screen under the “Test Menu”.

The “HS-8000 Analog Unadjusted” message is displayed.
Cause : One of ECG, respiration, or BP is not adjusted.
Solution : Parameter cannot be measured properly in this situation. Set the rotary switch of the
LC-8210 to 7 to switch the mode to factory default setting and make sure that the
analog adjustment has been made.
