Local settings: The date and time must be set manually
NTP time server: Date and time are obtained from a time

server

In a network environment with Internet access, the SPS

4000 can easily access any time server on the Internet.

Port 123 UDP is used for a time server (= NTP server).
Examples of time servers:

▪ Austria: 178,189,127,148, 178,189,127,149
▪ Germany: 130.149.17.021, 130,149,017,008
▪ Great Britain: 130,088,212,143, 130,088,200,004

Time zone

Selection of local UTC zones.

Automatic switching between summer and winter time

The adjustment of the time to summer and winter time is

automatic, based on the set time zone.
