4.2.10 TEST PRINT
Use this menu to check print quality. This function prints a pattern that is internally
generated by the print engine and is not processed by the controller.
To stop printing, press the [Escape] key.
The following three patterns can be printed using this function:
•
Pattern 1: 4C overlay grids (color shifting, registration, and skew check)
•
Pattern 2: 4x4 dots in each of 4C (jitter check)
•
Pattern 3: 4C solid belt (use this for the ID sensor adjustment procedure)

4.2.11 ID SENSOR PWM (PULSE WIDTH MODULATION)
Use this menu to calibrate the ID sensor output after replacing the ID sensor.
For the full details of the calibration method, see “Replacement and Adjustment -
Calibrating the ID Sensor”.
The table below shows the details for the ID Sensor PWM menu.
The PWM value can be specified in one step increments between 140 and 160.
(Default: 150)
