Instrument Management

The instrument management menu provides the functions of reading instrument information

and setting instrument parameters for the users, including 4 sub-menus which are: instrument

information, instrument parameter, instrument control and instrument alert. You can select the

menu to enter the relevant function.

7.3.1

Instrument Information

7.3.1.1

Instrument Status

This function is used for reading the instrument status for the users. You can click the

relevant button to read the status of spectrometer or instrument, as shown in Fig 7-39. The status

of spectrometer includes normal measuring, communication error, calculating density, acquiring

spectrum and stop acquiring. The status of instrument normally includes free, normal measuring,

zero adjusting, calibrating and reading, maintenance and failure status of the spectrum data.
