NOTE:
For extended service life, disconnect the battery to prevent it from being continuously charged by external
power when the aircraft is in maintenance.
When the aircraft is stored for an extended period of time, remove the battery and charge it fully. Then
store it in a warm dry place. Never leave the battery discharged.
Provide adequate ventilation when charging or using batteries in an enclosed space, keep sparks, flames
and cigarettes away.
Do not replace the sealed lead acid battery with a wet lead acid battery.
Never “jump-start” an aircraft that has a “dead” or discharged battery. It takes approximately three hours
to recharge a fully discharged battery with the aircraft generating system or external power.
Unauthorized modifications, including the fitting of optional electrical equipment, must not be carried out
under any circumstances without official modification authorizations issued by the factory.
