• Troubleshooting a Problem

ZMA-330, Ver.6

PosiDRIVE Security Gate

4.

Unbolt and remove the connecting rod.

5.

Turn the spherical bearing element within the bearing housing so that the bearing
surface is visible.

6.

Apply bearing grease to the bearing surface and move the bearing element around to
spread the grease evenly within the bearing housing.

7.

Replace the connecting rod and connecting rod bolts.

Troubleshooting a Problem

If the PosiDRIVE gate fails to operate properly, use the following table to troubleshoot
the problem. If you are still unable to correct the problem, contact your distributor. If
you are the distributor, contact Federal APD. See Appendix A,“Product Support”.
