The purpose of this section of the manual is to describe how to perform routine functions on
the control panel.

Keypad Layout

The system can be operated through either the LCD keypad (models XK-7LC or XK-5LC) , or
the LED keypad models XK-716 or XK-516. As many as eight of each keypad type can be
connected to each control panel.

The LED based keypad (models XK-716 or XK-516) shall only be utilized on systems containing
zone numbers less than sixteen. These keypads can only indicate the status of the first sixteen
zones.
