NOTE: ** If using devices such as PIRs, smoke detectors, etc., refer to
the specifications for that particular device's current draw. If
the total current draw exceeds 500mA, then use an
additional power supply.
NFPA, UL, and the California State Fire Marshal require the backup battery to provide power for
24 hours. The maximum aux. power will vary by the ampere/hour rating of the battery used:
5AH = 95mA; 7AH = 180mA; 8AH = 210mA.
