INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING: NEVER PLUG IN THE FAN

AND SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING THIS FAN.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
– Use the fan only as described in this
manual.
– This product is intended for household use
only.
– Not for commercial, industrial, or outdoor use.
– Do not immerse unit, plug or cord in water
or any other liquids.
– Do not spray the fan with liquids.
– Do not cover the fan.
– Do not use in humid spaces or near a sink.
– Do not use in the presence of explosive
and/or flammable fumes.
– Do not place the article or any part of it
near open fire or another heat source.
– Always place out of reach of children.
– Always place on a stable surface.
– Remove all objects in the direct vicinity
of the article in order not to block the
swerving mechanism.
– Never put anything through the ventilation
cage and always keep under supervision
when switched on.
– Do not place near an open window.
– This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children under 8 years)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliances by a person responsible
for their safety. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Always unplug from the socket when:
– not in use
– moving the article from one location to
another
– maintaining or servicing parts
– cleaning the article
Do not use when:
– plug or cord are damaged.
– the fan has fallen.
– the fan is not functioning properly.
– the fan is damaged in any way.
– Do not hang or mount the fan on a wall or
ceiling.
– Do not operate the fan if the grills are not
properly placed.
– When the cord is damaged it must be
replaced by a certified electrician.
ASSEMBLY
Turn the appliance upside down. Clip the two halves of
the base together, passing the mains cable though the
hole in the center. Fix the base to the fan body using the
three screws provided.
Fix the mains cable into the clip and pass through the slot
in the edge of the base as shown. Return the appliance to
the upright position.
OPERATION
– If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the
lead is rated at 3 Amp or more, and that it is fully unwound.
– If any other appliances are connected to the same
extension lead, make sure that it is rated for the total
power of all appliances connected.
– Switch the appliance on at the mains socket.
– Use the rotary switch to select the speed required:
1 = Low Speed
2 = Medium Speed
3 = High Speed
– Switch the rotary switch to "OFF" to turn the fan off.
– Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use.
– Turn the rotary switch to 1 <--> 2 <--> 3 to turn the
oscillation on. Turn the rotary switch to "OFF" to switch
the oscillation off.
MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, turn the appliance off, and disconnect
it from the mains supply.
2. The appliance may then be cleaned using a damp cloth
with a drop of washing-up liquid to remove any dust or
dirt from the case.
3. Do no use stronger detergents or solvents as these may
damage the paint finish.
4. Using a dry 1" (25mm) paint-brush, remove any dust
from the grilles.
If the mains lead is damaged, the article must be disposed
of.
THE ENVIRONMENT
When this product reaches the end of its useful life, hand
it in at a collection point for the recycling of electric and
electronic equipment. Please refer to the symbols on the
product, the user instructions or the packaging. Contact
your municipality for the address of the appropriate
collection point in your neighborhood.

– Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik
door personen (waaronder kinderen onder
8 jaar) met verminderde lichamelijke,
zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens,
of die gebrek aan ervaring of kennis
hebben, tenzij er iemand aanwezig is die
verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid,
toezicht op hen houdt, of hen heeft
uitgelegd hoe het apparaat dient te
worden gebruikt. Kinderen mogen niet
met het apparaat spelen. Schoonmaak en
onderhoud mag niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen zonder toezicht.
