Program Configuration Source: 

This control defines how the input audio channels are grouped 

together into programs for the IntelliGain

®

  audio loudness processing. Up to eight channels can be 

grouped together in individual programs, where each program contains its own metadata. IntelliGain

® 

uses this parameter to configure multiple internal settings.  
 

 
 

 

 

 

NOTE: 

It is important to follow the program to channel mapping guidelines. For 

example, Program Configuration Source 

2 + 2 + 2 + 2

 defines audio program 1 mapped 

to input channels 1 & 2, audio program 2 mapped to input channels 7 & 8, audio 
program 3 mapped to input channels 3 & 4 and audio program 4 mapped to input 
channels 5 & 6.  Program Configuration Source 

2 + 2 + 2 + 2 (p1, p3, p4, p2)

 has the 

audio program mapped sequentially.
