PRO INTERFACE

The 7847FSEDA series products are controlled using VistaLINK

PRO. VistaLINK

PRO operates

using Ethernet and SNMP control protocols. The 7847FSEDA series modules DO NOT HAVE card
edge controls. As a result, 7700FC/7800FC modules must be installed in all frames that house
7847FSEDA series modules.

Within VistaLINK

PRO the 7847FSEDA series modules have a set of system configuration controls,

as well as groups of controls designated for each of the two independent video processing paths. The
system configuration controls can be accessed by

right-clicking

on the module in the VistaLINK

PRO

hardware tree, and selecting

view configuration.

The video path configuration controls can be

accessed by expanding the 7847FSEDA module sub-tree (

click on the ‘+’ symbol beside the module

name

in the

VistaLINK

PRO hardware tree

), then

right-clicking

on the desired video path (

Video Path

1 or Video Path 2

) and selecting

view configuration

. Figure 5-1 illustrates how a 7847FSEDA module
