SYSTEM CONFIGURATION 

5.1.1.  General 

The General control tab reports system status monitoring and version information.   This includes 
module temperature and active cooling fan statuses. 
 
Figure 5-2 illustrates the layout of the general system status information in the VistaLINK® PRO global 
configuration view. 
 

 

NOTE:

  If any of the cooling fan statuses report a failure, the module should be powered 

down immediately to avoid overheating and subsequent damage to the module.  Contact 
Evertz for further assistance in replacing the failed modules.

To enable/disable a specific fault trap, check/uncheck the corresponding checkbox.  
 

Global Traps 

Temperature:

 This trap will alarm when the temperature of the modules exceeds 78

Version Information 

Firmware Version:
