Removing and installing electronics board
Field housing: removing and installing electronics board (Fig. 40)

Warning!
•
Risk of electric shock! Exposed components carry dangerous voltages. Make sure
that the power supply is switched off before you remove the cover of the electronics
compartment.
•
Risk of damaging electronic components (ESD protection)! Static electricity can
damage electronic components or impair their operability. Use a workplace with a
grounded working surface, purpose-built for electrostatically sensitive devices!
1.
Switch off the power supply
2.
Unscrew cover of the electronics compartment from the transmitter housing.
3.
Remove the display (a) from the connection compartment.
4.
Press the side latches (b) and flip down the cover of the connection compartment.
5.
Disconnect the connector of the electrode signal cable (c) and the coil current
cable (d).
6.
Disconnect the connector for the power supply (e) and the outputs (f).
7.
Disconnect the connector (g) for the display.
8.
Loosen the threaded fasteners (h) of the connection compartment.
9.
Plug ground cable (i) out of electronics board.
10. Pull entire module (plastic retainer and electronics board) out of the housing.
11. Press the side latches (j) slightly outwards and push the electronics board partly
from front to rear.
12. Pull the electronics board completely out of the plastic retainer from rear.
13. Reverse the procedure to reassemble.
