Commissioning
You can commission your measuring device quickly and easily using the brief
operating instructions. It allows you to configure important basic functions using
the local display, for example display language, measured variables,
engineering units, signal type etc.
If necessary, the following adjustments or configurations must be carried out
separately:
– Empty pipe/full pipe adjustment for Empty Pipe Detection
▼
Customer-specific configuration
Complex measurement tasks require the configuration of additional functions
which you can individually select, set and adapt to your process conditions
using the function matrix.
All functions are described in detail, as is the function matrix itself on Page 92.

Trouble-shooting
Always start trouble-shooting with the checklist on Page 66 if faults occur after
commissioning or during operation. This takes you directly (via various queries)
to the cause of the problem and the appropriate remedial measures.
Returning devices
If you return a measuring device to Hauser for repair or calibration, you
must complete the “Declaration of Contamination” form and enclose it with the
device. A copy of this form can be found at the end of this Operating Manual.
