A maximum of 32 transmitters can be connected to the bus (only 8 in explosion
hazardous areas EEx ia IIC according to the FISCO model). The bus power is supplied
by the segment coupler. On-site- as well as remote operation are possible. For detailed
information on the PROFIBUS-PA standard refer to Operation Instructions BA 198F/00/
en and the standards EN 50 170/DIN 19 245 (PROFIBUS-PA) and EN 50 020 (FISCO
model).
