SETTING PRINTING
OPTIONS
Press the function key corresponding to the condition you wish to change,
then use the up and down Position keys to change the setting of the
condition indicated by the blinking square.
•
To change printing speed: press F1 to move the blinking square next
to Speed, then use the up and down Position keys to change the
speed setting.
• To change the number of passes: press F2 to move the blinking
square next to Pass, then use the up and down Position keys to
change the Pass setting.
• To change the printing direction: press F4 to move the blinking square
next to DIR, then use the up and down Position keys to change the
DIR setting.
7 Press Enter to save the User mode settings.
8 Press PAUSE again to return to Ready status.
Defining a User Mode
The User function lets you save four different sets of Print mode conditions
consisting of the settings listed below. With the User function, you can save and
load different printing conditions you frequently use to suit different media
types. Before sending print data, check the current settings and change them as
necessary. The functions which can be specified are as follows:
Printing speed, number of passes, and printing direction
Dry Time interval
Time Out interval
Pen parameter settings
Palette selection
Pen Cont. setting
Adj. Dis. setting
Registration Mark setting.
