NovaCut User's Guide

APPENDICES

Cleaning the service station

The service station wipes and seals the base of each cartridge jet plate. Ink and

dust can accumulate in the service station causing poor print quality. Depending

on how frequently you print, you may want to clean the service station every

week using the following procedure.

To clean the service station

Load a sheet of paper into the NovaCut.

Press TEST.

ACCESS CARTRIDGES>

PRIME TEST>

If pressing TEST displays the menu below, the NovaCut is in Cutting mode.

Switch to Pause status, then select Print mode.

CUTTING TEST 1>

CUTTING TEST 2>

Press F3 (ACCESS CARTRIDGES) to move the carriage to the position

which allows cartridge replacement.

While pressing the tab on the right side of the service station toward the

left, lift it up and out of the main unit.
