Print contains only partial image
Check the Format menu's Margin setting. When Margins are set to
Normal (the default), the print area is smaller than when Margins are
set to Expanded. Try setting the Margins option to Expanded to make
the print area larger.
Look at the Format menu’s plot area setting too check the effective
printing area specified for the loaded media. The effective printing area
is determined by the loaded media’s width and the Format menu’s
margin setting.
Use wider media.
Jagged vertical lines
Check that the ink cartridges are properly installed, then run the
calibration procedure. (See "Installing Ink Cartridges" in Chapter 2 and
Appendix A.)
Prime the ink cartridge to be sure that all the inkjets are firing properly.
(See "Priming the Ink Delivery Lines" in Chapter 2.)
Clean the ink cartridges. (See Chapter 7.)
Try another cartridge.
Splotchy area fill
Try using enhanced mode. If the problem persists, prime the ink
cartridge to be sure that all the inkjets are firing properly. (See "Prim-
ing the Ink Delivery Lines" in Chapter 2.)
Excessive banding in area fills
Consistent banding is a hardware problem; inconsistent banding is
generally a software problem.

Use specially coated inkjet media. ENCAD provides a full line of high
quality inkjet media. (See Appendix G.)
