NovaCut User's Guide

6-8 Preparing NovaCut for transport or storage

Remove each reservoir from the reservoir cover. Next, remove the ink

from each reservoir.

After cleaning the empty reservoirs with water, dry them completely.

When the reservoirs are dry, remount them in the cover.

Secure the four ink reservoirs inside the cover using the sponge removed in

Step 4.

Mount the ink tank on the printer and secure with thumbscrews.

10 Connect the four ink supply lines to their corresponding reservoirs.

reservoirs.

Cleaning the service station

To clean the service station

Disengage the latch at the right side of the service station and remove the

service station from the pr inter.

Rinse the service station to oremove all excess ink.

Dry and reinstall in the printer.

Returning the printer for service

If for any reason, you need to return your NovaCut to ENCAD for service,

you

must remove the ink reservoir assembly and purge the ink supply lines.

Before returning the printer, contact ENCAD Technical Support for an RMA

number and for complete instructions on preparing your printer for shipment.
