The Edge Styler STD/PRO is susceptible to gathering dirt and rubbish. This increases the amount
of wear and tear. A proper maintenance schedule keeps wear and tear on the parts reduced to a
minimum and ensures safer operation.
Daily maintenance
• Clean the machine. (§ 11.3)
• Follow the checklist (read § 9.1).
• Inspect the blade and the blade mount (§11.4.2.6).
• Check the machine for excessive looseness (§11.4.2.4).
• Check the machine for signs of abnormal wear or fractures.
• Adjust the cables on the operating handles (§11.4.2.8).
Maintenance after 10 hours
• Daily maintenance.
• Check the motor oil (§ 11.4.1.4).
• Clean the air filter (§11.4.1.2).
Maintenance after 20 hours
• Perform the “Maintenance after 10 hours” if relevant.
• Change the motor oil (§11.4.1.4).
• Lubricate (§ 11.5).
Maintenance after 60 hours
• Perform the “Maintenance after 20 hours” if relevant.
• Replace the air filter (§11.4.1.2).
• Replace the spark plugs (11.4.1.5.).
• Replace the belts (ELIET DEALER).
• Replace the bearing on the eccentric (ELIET
DEALER).
• Replace the set plate of the blade (11.4.2.5.).
Maintenance after 100 hours/1 year
• Bring in the Edge Styler STD/PRO for general
servicing.
11.3 Cleaning the machine
Cau tion :
When performing maintenance, adhere to the recommended safety measures.
Wear the appropriate protective clothing and personal safety gear.
For your information :
STD /PRO Running-in oil
After either the first month or the first 5 hours of operation, the motor oil
should be replaced. After that, replace the oil after 20 more hours of operation.
