When performing an inspection or doing
maintenance, the machine should only be tilted
forwards (also see §11.4.2.2.).
11.2 Maintenance schedules
11.2.1 Special maintenance
During the break-in period, some of the machines parts have to settle in. In the first 10 hours, the
drive belts will become rather accustomed to a certain, constant amount of stretching.
Hence, after the first 10 hours of use, the belts should be tightened again (§11.4.2.3).
The motor oil should be replaced as well after the first 5 hours of use.
11.2.2. Periodic maintenance schedule
Caution :
When performing maintenance, always wear gloves, and also safety glasses for
some operations. These are supplied as standard with the machine.
Caution :
Always ensure that the motor is switched off before performing maintenance
work.
Caution :
Neglecting this special form of maintenance can render the manufacturing war-
ranty null and void.
Cau tion :
Maintenance should be always performed with the motor switched off. As a
precaution, the spark plug should also be removed.
