• Where necessary, remove the protective coverings (read § 11.4.2.1.).
• Clean off the bearings requiring lubrication.
• Spray a bit of MoS2-based penetrating oil on the axis of the bearing.
• Wait briefly.
• Spray once again.
• Let the bearing rotate for a moment. If the bearing can do this on its own when the motor is
running, then do it as long as you are alert for safety.
• Remove any excess grease.
Caution:
Always clean off the machine before lubricating treatments. Lubricating a dirty
machine will force rubbish into the bearings and will increase the amount of
wear and tear.
