Dead man’s handle:
Mounted onto the steering bracket is a red handle, which
serves as a vigilance control for the wheel drive. Releasing the
handle will shut off the traction.
Disconnecting the blade:
Lifting the blade out of its normal operating position will shut
off the drive, in which case the blade comes to a stop as soon
as it is lifted from the ground.
Ergonomics:
The styler’s steering mechanism is dampened against jarring
and is adjustable in terms of steering height and angling. This
feature is ideal for the operator in that it allows him to deploy
the styler in a way that is best suited for him and the tasks at
hand. Not only will be less prone to injury, he will also not tire
as quickly, which is beneficial for safety.
Anti-deviation disc:
This component ensures that the styler does not deviate off
course during operation. The disc minimizes the chance that
the styler will slip out of alignment when performing edge
work at a sloped angle (for example, styling the edge of a
golf-course bunker). Hence, the operator is able to keep the
machine better under control in risky situations.
