Disposable bag assembly
Description
The disposable bag assembly is a pre-sterilized single-use bag, designed for solid-liquid
or liquid-liquid dissolution processes. The disposable bag assembly is available in two
variants:

Basic bag assembly
•
Plus bag assembly
Both bag assemblies have a 3
″
port for bulk (powder) additions, a liquid addition line, a
drain line, a sample line, and two impeller assemblies. The impeller assemblies are
welded into the bottom of the disposable bag.
In addition, the Plus bag assembly contains two more liquid addition lines for acid and
base solutions, one liquid addition line for adjustments, two probe ports, and a thermowell.
Connection to the entry points is performed via bulkhead-type seals.
The liquid addition lines, the drain line, and the impeller baseplates on the bag are de-
signed to align with the openings and the agitator system of the mixer vessel.
A hopper or a powder bag is connected to the disposable bag assembly via a TC-clamp
port when solid ingredients need to be added.
Custom bag configurations are available on request.
