Recycling information

Introduction

This section contains information about the decommissioning of XDUO 2500 Mixer.

Decontamination

XDUO 2500 Mixer shall be decontaminated before decommissioning and all local regu-
lations shall be followed with regard to scrapping of the equipment.

Disposal

When taking XDUO 2500 Mixer out of service, the different materials must be separated
and recycled according to national and local environmental regulations.

Recycling of hazardous
substances

XDUO 2500 Mixer contains hazardous substances. Detailed information is available from
your GE representative.

Disposal of electrical
components

Waste electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed as unsorted municipal
waste and must be collected separately. Contact an authorized representative of the
manufacturer for information concerning the decommissioning of the equipment.
