WARNING

Strong magnets. Magnets may interfere with functioning of
pacemakers or implanted heart defibrillators and cause DEATH or
SERIOUS INJURY. Magnets are located on the bottom of XDUO 2500
Mixer, and in the impeller assembly of the disposable bags.

•

OBSERVE and follow instructions for installation, operation, and
maintenance of XDUO 2500 Mixer.

•

KEEP a safe distance of 25 cm or more from the magnets to
avoid exposure of magnetic field greater than 0.5 mT (5 G).

•

WARN people who wear pacemakers or implanted heart defib-
rillators from getting too close to the magnets.

Installation

WARNING

Installation. Installation and relocation of the instrument must be
performed by GE personnel or a third party authorized by GE.

WARNING

Squeezing or crushing injuries. Because of the significant weight
of the instrument, great care must be taken not to cause squeezing
or crushing injuries during movement. At least two people are
recommended for moving the unit.

WARNING

Electrical installation. All electrical installation must be performed
by authorized personnel only.

WARNING

Access to power switch. The power switch must always be easy
to access.
