Probe sheath assembly
Description
The probe sheath is an accessory to the disposable bag that provides aseptic connection
of a probe with the cell culture inside the disposable bag. The probe sheath with the in-
serted probe constitutes the probe sheath assembly, which is inserted into the bag as-
sembly probe port.
The probe sheath is provided as a single assembled unit and includes an aseptic connec-
tion device (ACD). The probe sheath is compatible with the following 12 × 225 mm probes:

Conductivity probe
•
pH probe
The probe sheath utilizes a PG 13.5 thread type connector.
The probe sheath assembly has to be autoclaved before it is connected to a probe port
of the bag assembly.
