Viewer Timeout
[3-60,000 seconds, N]
Defines the timeout interval for viewing GKT display options such as
Software
Version
,
Directory Used Resources
. It also defines the timeout interval before
returning to the previous display of the same function, such as from
E D I T
back to
D I R
or
from Context-Sensitive Help to the previous function screen. Enter N for no timeout
interval, i.e, you must press
E S C
to return to the previous screen.
The default is defined as 30 seconds. You can define the time interval as any number
between 3 and 60,000 seconds or N for no interval.
Dialog Box Timeout
[3-60,000 seconds, N]
Defines the maximum waiting time for the user to input information to a dialog box.
Dialog boxes are those pop-up boxes that require some user input such as Yes or No
responses. It also defines the maximum waiting time before returning to the previous
screen, for instance, when using the EDIT form to enter contact information. Enter N for
no timeout interval, i.e, you must press
E S C
to remove the Dialog box and to return to the
previous screen.
The default is defined as 10 seconds. You can define the time interval as any number
between 3 and 60,000 seconds or N for no interval.

Defines the maximum time period that an information dialog box remains displayed over
current display. Information dialog boxes are pop-ups that do not require user input and
include messages such as:

when saving EDITING
updates or

– when a search item is not found. Enter N for no timeout
interval so that the information pop-up box will be displayed until

remove the message, or another key is pressed to continue GKT operation.
